Every procedure gets a written estimate first. If we find something mid-procedure, we call you before we act on it — always.

📋 How billing works

What an estimate actually covers

Our written estimates are itemised line by line: the procedure, the anaesthetic, the monitoring, the pain relief, the hospitalisation and the medication to go home with. There is no separate "practice fee" hiding at the bottom.

If costs change mid-procedure

We call you. If we cannot reach you, we do the minimum needed to keep your pet safe and comfortable and wait. Nobody here is authorised to add several hundred dollars to a bill on their own judgement.

Payment

  • Payment is due on discharge, or on the day for routine work
  • We direct-claim with most major pet insurers on bills over $500
  • Interest-free instalments available on procedures over $1,000
  • We hold a hardship fund for genuine emergencies — ask, quietly, at reception

The Pawsitive Plan

Thirty-two dollars a month spreads the cost of vaccinations, parasite control, two health checks and unlimited nurse clinics. It saves most clients around $180 a year and — more usefully — it means the preventive stuff actually gets done.

Want it in writing first?

Ask for an estimate before you book. We would much rather you knew the number in advance.
